Mayoress of Tecámac calls for the promotion of public policies for the care of the environment / @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The municipal president of Tecámac, Rocío Miguel Hernández, called for the promotion of public policies to improve environmental care, in which she said both the government and society must be more strongly involved, because only by working together will it be possible to achieve this objective.

While participating in the Parliament for Mother Earth, convened by the Congress of Mexico City, he stressed the need to undertake various actions, such as the use of renewable energies, the care and rational use of water and the creation of standards to curb global warming.

Likewise, he added, helping to care for pollinating species, recycling different materials and, of course, working together «is what will lead us to have better progress. Only together can we improve,» he said.

In the presence of legislators, diplomats and mayors, the municipal president highlighted the various provisions that have been carried out in Tecámac as part of the efforts to contribute to preserve and improve the environment.

She mentioned that for the past five years, maintenance has been carried out on all the water supply sources and the drilling of wells to supply the vital liquid, as well as the rehabilitation of five wastewater treatment plants, with a treatment capacity of 470 liters per second.

In addition, she added, work has been done on a «purple line» of about 4 kilometers, in which treated water is being piped for irrigation work in parks, gardens and parkways, and even during the construction of the AIFA it was supplied for the earthworks.

Rocío Miguiel pointed out that, by approval of the Cabildo, since May the use and exploitation of the residual liquid in the public and private sector in activities related to the manufacture of metallic products, chemical substances, petroleum and coal products, as well as car wash businesses and in the construction of houses has been obligatory.
