Junta de Asistencia Privada del Estado de México receives 4.8 million pesos through in-kind donations / @Edomex >>>
#EstadoDeMéxico.- Committed to the transparency promoted by the current administration headed by the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, the President of the Private Assistance Board of the State of Mexico (JAPEM), Ruth Gabriela Goldschmied Guasch, presented the report of work from July 2023 to June 2024, during which 4 million 834 thousand 271 pesos were received through 104 in-kind donations.
She informed that there are currently 58 donors, which are 19 companies, four IAPs from Mexico and one from Quintana Roo, nine individuals, seven civil business associations, one market, one school and 16 public organizations.
Accompanied by authorities from the Welfare Secretariat headed by Juan Carlos González Romero, representatives of the Private Assistance Institutions (IAP), members of the Board’s Governing Body, as well as directors of donor companies and foundations, she highlighted that as a result of the 114 verification visits made to the institutions, 93 obtained certification in the fulfillment of their work.
He highlighted the constitution of 13 new IAPs in the municipalities of Nezahualcóyotl, La Paz, Texcoco and Tultitlán, he also pointed out that this result was achieved through training, therefore he urged those who are interested in professionalizing their work through the training provided by this organism.
He emphasized that the JAPEM is currently working on a proposal to amend the Law of Private Assistance Institutions (LIAPEM), in order to have a modern regulatory framework aligned to the needs of the vulnerable population, so he reaffirmed his commitment to work closely with the representatives of the organizations.
