#EstadoDeMéxico.- With the objective of having prepared public servants who serve citizens with a humanistic sense, as indicated by the Governor of the State of Mexico Delfina Gomez Alvarez, the Council for Research and Evaluation of Social Policy (CIEPS), attached to the Ministry of Welfare, provided the training «Logical Framework Methodology» to staff of the Institute of Training and Training for Industrial Work (ICATI), an auxiliary agency of the Ministry of Labor.

This activity was carried out to present this methodology as a tool to improve management, mainly of social programs, providing a clear structure with a focus on results, which facilitates their planning, execution and evaluation.

During the course of the workshop, the participants discussed the preparation of the «problem tree», which helps to define what needs to be solved, and the «objective tree», which establishes the positive conditions that can be feasibly achieved to solve the problem.

They also highlighted the need to generate indicators as instruments that help measure progress in achieving the objectives and provide information for both monitoring and evaluation.

Having public servants trained in these topics is of utmost importance to achieve the goals set by the current administration of the Mexican entity, as it generates an improvement in decision making, facilitates the evaluation processes, which enables continuous learning by detecting areas for improvement and contributes to accountability exercises.

Likewise, developing this and other trainings aimed at state workers allows us to comply with the objectives framed in the Development Plan of the State of Mexico 2023-2029, in its Axis 1. Zero corruption and government of the people and for the people.
