Government of Tecámac delivers support to families affected by the rains / @MejorTecamac >>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The municipal president, Rocío Miguel Hernández, delivered furniture and refrigerators to the families that were affected during the heavy rain that occurred last June, which affected 30 homes.

On Sonora Street, one of the most affected streets in the Loma Bonita neighborhood, bed bases, mattresses, dining rooms and refrigerators were delivered to the families.

The municipal president explained that after the heavy rainfall on June 24, staff of the Municipal System for Integral Family Development (DIF) Tecámac, conducted a census to determine the damage to the houses that were flooded.

«The DIF has the instruction to review what they lost, based on what was damaged; it was organized in such a way that those who lost many items were the first to receive support,» she explained.

For her part, the general director of SMDIF, María Isabel Muñoz Rodríguez, said that 100 families were surveyed, although only 30 homes were affected and suffered major damage to their furniture.

The most damaged communities were Lomas de Tecámac, Ozumbilla, San Pedro Atzompa, Ojo de Agua and Loma Bonita.

She explained that another of the priorities of the municipal authorities during the contingency was to bring health services closer to the affected Tecamaquenses. The beneficiary families thanked the mayoress and the director of SMDIF for the delivery of the household goods.
