#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, and his wife, the Honorary President of the Municipal DIF System, Patricia Arévalo Rubio, received the National Award for Good Municipal Government 2024 in the Social Municipality Thematic Award category, for their outstanding work in benefit of the children of Atizapán.
The recognition, granted by the Good Government Institute, the National Federation of Municipalities of Mexico (FENAMM), the National Conference of Municipalities of Mexico (CONAMM) and the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), recognizes municipal efforts to improve the quality of life of the population, in order to be replicated.
At the INAP facilities, the Mayor of Atizapán de Zaragoza valued the recognition given to the municipal government because Atizapán de Zaragoza has been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior through the National SIPINNA (Integral System for the Protection of the Rights of Children and Adolescents), for the different actions undertaken in favor of Atizapán’s early childhood.
“I congratulate my wife for this work, this dedication she has towards the children of our municipality. Our policies and actions seek to promote greater integration and coexistence among the different segments of the population. In the case of this award that we receive today, we are targeting early childhood, since we do not see them as the future, but as the present of the Nation,” said Rodriguez Villegas.
For her part, the Honorary President of the Municipal DIF, Patricia Arévalo Rubio, invited all the authorities present to work in favor of children and youth to build a better country with spaces and actions that favor the formation of good people.
“I invite all of you to continue strengthening and rescuing the daycare centers, as Mayor Lía Limón said, we must rescue the spaces, the children, we must rescue the youth and continue working in our municipalities to strengthen the bonds of union in families; the values that have been lost in families, but if we work from home, from our trenches, we will achieve great things in our municipalities,” she said.
