Governor Delfina Gómez transforms education with works and equipment in Ecatepec’s schools / @delfinagomeza @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, continues to make progress in the educational transformation of the municipality of Ecatepec, strengthening school infrastructure and equipping schools.

During a tour of various basic, middle and higher education institutions in this municipality, Miguel Ángel Hernández Espejel, Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti) supervised and announced works, in addition to delivering furniture to improve the educational environment.

During his visit to Official High School No. 0099 “Generalísimo José Ma. Morelos y Pavón”, the Secretary delivered school furniture and announced an investment of more than 9.7 million pesos for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the school.

The works include the renovation of the sanitary module and the general drainage network, the adaptation of ramps, the construction of a cistern and improvements to the main access that will benefit the 779 students enrolled.

The head of the SECTI emphasized that, in synergy with the Mexican Government headed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the aim is to strengthen the Normal Schools.

Mr. Hernández Espejel also supervised the progress of the construction of the first stage of the new building of the Escuela Normal de Ecatepec, which represents a federal investment of more than 5.7 million pesos.
