#EstadoDeNuevoLeón.- The Governor of the State, Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, supervised this Thursday the section where the new Metro Line to the Airport will be built.

In the Airport Boulevard, Municipality of Apodaca, the State Governor arrived at the point of creation of the extension of the (Line 6 of the) Metro to the Airport, in order to tour and see the works that will be carried out.

García Sepúlveda said that work is being done day and night 24/7 so that Monterrey, as a first world city, citizens can reach the Airport without a car.

“That for the World Cup all foreigners coming to the games will be able to take the Metro from the Airport, get off at Fundidora and from Fundidora they will be able to walk to the Rayados Stadium where there will be four games,” he said.

“We are working every day and the progress of lines 4 and 6 is already very noticeable; soon there will be news of line 5, and the Mobility project, three Metro lines and the new trucks will become a reality, not in the six-year term, but before the World Cup in May 2026”, he pointed out.
