#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The City Council of Atizapán de Zaragoza, presided by Mayor Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, unanimously approved subsidies on surcharges and fines, as well as discounts on payments for services related to the use of potable water for users of the municipality.
At the Hundred and Fourteenth Ordinary City Council Session, the councilmen and councilwomen approved, first, to grant a 50% subsidy on surcharges and 100% on fines within the period from October 1 to December 31, 2024, in favor of domestic and commercial users who present themselves to regularize their debt spontaneously or with a letter of invitation, as well as those who have been initiated the administrative procedure of execution of termination of tax credit and / or payment requirement, in accordance with the rules of application, in attention to the agreement taken in the Thirteenth Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of SAPASA, held on August 13, 2024.
Likewise, they authorized to exempt from the payment of the ½ diameter meter registration fee 100% in popular domestic use and 50% in residential and high residential use, during the period from August 15 to December 31, 2024.
They also approved the exemption of 50% in the payment of potable water, drainage and sewerage connection fees, in accordance with the application rules, in favor of domestic and non-domestic users who present themselves spontaneously or with an invitation letter, to regularize their tax situation during the period from August 15 to December 31, 2024, in accordance with the agreement taken in the same SAPASA session.
In addition, they endorsed the delivery of support for the 64 families whose homes were damaged due to the flooding caused by the overflowing of the Moritas River as a result of the rain on August 28th.
And as part of the commitment that Mayor Rodríguez Villegas has with the athletes of Atizapán de Zaragoza, aldermen and alderwomen approved the delivery of economic support for athletes, such as Tania Estefanía Trejo, who will participate in the Pharlabs NPC Mexican National Championships to be held at the University Cultural Complex Theater on November 9 and 10 in Puebla; for David Montaño Meléndez, to attend the World Aerobic Gymnastics Championship to be held in the city of Pesaro, Italy, from September 27 to 29; for Nancy Carolina Balderas Rodriguez, who will attend the international sports competition Guerra en la Frontera, from October 23 to 27 in Mexicali, Baja California, and for Miranda Mondragón Cedillo, who will attend the Pan American Games of Aerobic Gymnastics, from November 11 to 17 in Panama.
