#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- This Friday concluded the two days of celebrations with the presentation of the Academic Excellence Merit Award to 172 outstanding students of elementary, middle, high school, high school and postgraduate, in the framework of the Heroic Deed of the Heroic Deed of the Heroic Children of Chapultepec, which this year commemorates its CLXXVII anniversary.

In the midst of a great festive atmosphere, Tecámac held the celebration of the 199th Anniversary of the Erection of the Municipality, in which the Municipal Civil Merit and Academic Excellence Awards were presented to 245 winners in ten different categories.

The opening of the celebration, held this Thursday, was headed by the municipal president, Rocio Miguel Hernandez, and was attended by the Secretary of Tourism and Culture of the State of Mexico, Nely Carrasco, representing Governor Delfina Gomez; Senator Mariela Gutierrez Escalante, and the elected mayor, Rosy Wong, as well as federal deputies.

During the award ceremony, Mayor Rocio Miguel Hernandez, said that this date is special for the people of Tecamaquenses, since it represents another year in the life of the municipality, which over the 199 years has witnessed many changes in different areas.

He also acknowledged the senator and municipal president on permanent leave, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, for having established the awarding of the Presea al Mérito Municipal, which recognizes the most outstanding tecamaquenses who put the name of this beloved municipality on a high level.

While attending the award ceremony, Senator Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, emphasized that this recognition is made in the framework of the foundation of Tecámac and highlights the effort of the people of Tecámac, since in each of the award winners there are stories that move us by the effort, tenacity and discipline of their protagonists who work for their causes.
