#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The “Heart of Boca del Río” fervently lived the Commemoration of the 214th Anniversary of the Cry of Independence, a ceremony in which the Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, remembered the heroes who gave Homeland and Freedom to the Mexicans.

Minutes before 11:00 p.m. this Sunday, the Municipal President accompanied by Mrs. Melina Rivera de Unánue and her little daughter Aitana Unánue Rivera, moved through the corridors of the Municipal Palace heading to the main balcony waiting to start the protocol act.

With the bugle call, the escort in charge of elements of the Third Naval Region escorted the Patriotic Flag to deliver it to the Mayor, who gallantly received it to ring the bell with three toques and harangue.

“Boqueños and boqueñas, long live the heroes that gave us homeland and freedom, long live Hidalgo, long live Morelos, long live Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, long live Allende, long live Aldama, long live Galeana, long live Nicolas Bravo, long live National Independence, long live the heroes that gave us our country and freedom, long live Morelos, long live Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, long live Allende, long live Aldama, long live Galeana and long live Nicolas Bravo, Long live National Independence, long live Boca del Río, long live Veracruz, long live Mexico, long live Mexico, long live Mexico, long live Mexico,” a chant that was chanted by all those present at the Benito Juárez Civic Plaza.

Afterwards, Unánue Abascal rang six bells, waved the Mexican flag in the highest point and sang the Mexican National Anthem in unison.

At the end, the sky of Boca del Rio was illuminated with a beautiful fireworks show, reflecting figures and vibrant colors, while vernacular music was played in the background.
