#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- 214 years after the beginning of Independence, San Miguel de Allende celebrated that Mexico was born here!
The “First City Hall of Free Mexico” celebrated its Fiestas Patrias with a weekend that brought together thousands of attendees, among sanmiguelenses and visitors, to live the libertarian experience from the Best City of Mexico and the world.
With its historic center and especially its Main Garden decorated in green, white and red, the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo, accompanied by his daughters, extolled the pride of being Mexican from San Miguel de Allende: land where Mexico was born.
During these days, San Miguel had very emotional moments, starting this Saturday, September 14, with the entrance of the Cavalcade of the Conspirators of 1810, coming from Queretaro, which recalled the feat of Ignacio Perez, to carry the message to Don Ignacio Allende, in which he warned that “The conspiracy had been discovered”, thus starting the Insurgent Movement.
Sunday, September 15, was already filled with commemorative events that the people tucked in with their attendance, highlighting the ceremony of the Grito de Independencia, where more than 15,000 spectators chanted the harangue of the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo.
