#SE.- The Ministry of Economy presents the new section of its “DataMéxico” platform, which will make public announcements of foreign investment made by the private sector in Mexico visible.

This section is the result of the investment announcement monitoring project that began in 2023, with the aim of identifying current investment trends at an unbeatable time for Mexico in light of the nearshoring phenomenon and the growing need for companies to increase efficiency in their production processes.

The new tool will allow users to consult the data in its different breakdowns: country of origin of investments, destination state and economic sector, with the possibility of filtering periods of interest on a monthly and annual basis, which allows for a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the data.

The Ministry of Economy is committed to continue providing public and educational tools that allow the population to have timely information and to continue consolidating Mexico in international best practices that innovate in transparent models of orientation for investors.
