Delfina Gómez highlights progress in mobility with report in Naucalpan; water and roads, pending issues / @Edomex >>>

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez today highlighted the progress made in terms of mobility, social support and employment in the Naucalpan region, where she announced that she will continue working to guarantee the supply of drinking water and improve roads.

While presenting a regional report in said municipality, he said that in this first year the foundations were laid to transform the State of Mexico with actions such as salary cuts, elimination of privileges and putting the government at the service of the citizens.

He referred to Naucalpan as a municipality with a great industrial vocation and recalled that he has visited it in recent weeks due to the landslides and floods it has suffered. He said that the “Los Cuartos” dam and nearby schools are being supervised.

Support for at-risk areas will continue
The state governor guaranteed that the support to the populations affected by the rains will continue, through Civil Protection and Urban Development to identify risk areas and avoid that they continue to populate places where there should not be houses.

He mentioned that during the dry season, 173 fires were attended in the regions of Ixtlahuaca and Naucalpan.

He emphasized that social support is now granted directly, without intermediaries, “which was something that our citizens were asking for, which allowed us to prioritize the most vulnerable sectors.

She pointed out that the programs Alimentación para Empezar (Food to Start), which benefits 152 thousand women, Mujeres con Bienestar (Women with Wellbeing), with 185 thousand 617 beneficiaries, and for them to finish their studies, because “the better prepared a woman is, the stronger she will be in life”.
