Second Meeting of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem held in Celaya / @municipiocelaya >>>
#Celaya, #Gto.- The meeting focused on the theme of promoting entrepreneurship through the importance of youth in building the ecosystem, through a series of conferences and the presentation of awards to those who completed the diploma course “Entrepreneurial Management for Small Businesses” taught by Latino Business Foundation, from Sillicon Valey, California, United States, and issued by the University of Santa Clara.
The municipal president, Javier Mendoza Márquez, told the graduates that “this point of arrival must also be a point of departure” to put into practice what they learned and that today our country does not require bosses who order, but leaders who inspire.
The Director of Entrepreneurship of IDEA Gto, Omar Silva Palancares, said that municipalities are the first point of contact for entrepreneurs and recognized the work of the municipality of Celaya in the ecosystem and in the Hub-i, which he mentioned, is one of the hardest working.
For his part, the president and CEO of Latino Business Foundation, Jesús Flores, mentioned that the 115 people who completed the diploma course are part of the third generation that has graduated since working with Desarrollo Económico Celaya and that they will continue to promote entrepreneurs from Mexico and other countries around the world.
The director of Economic Development, Eduardo Knapp Hernandez, thanked all those who, from educational institutions and intermediate organizations, have formed, together with the agency, the solid entrepreneurial ecosystem that Celaya has today.
The meeting included the presentations “The human side of entrepreneurship” given by MBA and human resources expert Claudia Galván Vallejo; the “Dulcelaya success story” given by Jerry Castañeda, marketing director of El Caballo sin Rival and winner of the award for “Best Tour Operator in the State”; and the “Kone Care success story” given by Yamilé Elías Aguirre, entrepreneur of a cosmetics company developed with biotechnology.
