DIF of San Miguel de Allende consolidates priority attention to families in the municipality / @GobMunicipalSMA >>>

#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- With results that directly impact the quality of life, the Municipal Government headed by President Mauricio Trejo through the Municipal DIF, consolidates the priority attention to the families of San Miguel.

During the Tenth First Ordinary Session with the Board of Trustees, the mayor highlighted the achievements made in the last year, where historic achievements and progress have been recorded in the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) of San Miguel de Allende.

With positive actions and on behalf of all the staff in charge of the so-called “DIF San Miguel de Allende”, its director, Brisa Calderón, presented the work of this noble institution during 2024, where the support to the most vulnerable population of the municipal territory was endorsed.

Leading this accountability before the Board of Trustees of the organization, chaired by Roberto Luis Maxwell Martínez, the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo, ratified the fulfillment of the annual objectives and emphasized that the goal of attending to every San Miguel resident who requested help was achieved: “The objectives were met, it is a very important area for me, so important that the colors are there. The first thing we said was: take away the colors. It is neither cherry, nor tricolor, nor blue; the DIF cannot be politicized, it is an area where people arrive who are about to lose their last hope. As long as you have attended with all your team to each person who arrived, almost losing hope, goal accomplished. It was achieved and more than achieved, it is due to the work done here by the DIF, by the Patronato. Brisa, the truth is that I thank you for your commitment during these three years, but more grateful are all the people you touched during these three years”.

In response to the mayor of San Miguel, Calderón Rosales mentioned that from “Day One” priority attention was given to the general population, covering all the neighborhoods, working-class neighborhoods and rural communities: “I am most proud of that part, of the sensitive and core part which is: the people. We looked them in the eyes as the mayor (Mauricio Trejo) asked us to do, we made their pain ours and we took it away, so that the burden they bring, social and emotional, we had it instead of them. We help them to remove the pain they have, to face life and give them the tools to carry it out”.
