#ISSSTE.- Afore Pensionissste has established itself as one of the most competitive fund managers in the market, thanks to its commission, the lowest since 2008. Its investment strategy has positioned it at the top of the Net Return Indicator (NRI). In addition, it stands out for distributing the Remaining Operating Profit (ROP) among its account holders and for encouraging voluntary savings through raffles with prizes of up to one million pesos.
Pensionissste is the only public, non-profit retirement fund manager with a strong social sense that provides the necessary tools to achieve short-, medium- and long-term financial goals.
There are four strategic axes to guide Pensionissste’s operations:
Axis 1. Prudent risk-return relationship.
The investment strategy manages the relationship between risk and return, maximizing the returns on workers’ accounts at the beginning of their working lives and minimizing them as they approach retirement. Since 2019, we have improved our position with respect to NRI, placing the 10 Siefores we manage among the top five at the close of August 2024 and reaching fourth position globally in weighted NRI.
In addition, it integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria in its investments to mitigate environmental impact, including sustainable instruments in its portfolio.
Continuous improvement in customer service and quality of service.
This is carried out in a face-to-face and virtual manner, through staff training and infrastructure improvement. At the end of August 2024, it had 55 Customer Service Centers (CAP), had attended 346,660 people and carried out 789,559,55 procedures. Likewise, 1,998 service modules were installed throughout the country, where 62,805 procedures were completed.
In 2023 it implemented a new business model and certified one hundred percent of its pension advisors to guarantee quality service. It also obtained the insignia of the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users (Condusef) for its attention to senior citizens and has implemented a model of home attention for people with reduced mobility.
