#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- More than a hundred cyclists gathered in the Fraccionamiento Las Alamedas de Atizapán de Zaragoza to participate in the Cycling Competition and Recreational Ride 2024, which was won by Karla García and Daniel Aguilar in the women’s and men’s categories, respectively.

A cool morning with a sporting atmosphere was experienced in the 4 kilometer circuit that was adapted in the Paseo de Los Flamingos and Paseo Alamedas. Children, adults and entire families came with their bicycles ready to get the victory and also to encourage the practice of sports.

Organized by the Department of Social Development, the competition went smoothly and the enthusiasm was marked by the pleasure of riding a bike and at the same time strengthen the health of those who practice it.

On several occasions, Mayor Pedro Rodriguez Villegas has highlighted the love that Atizapenses have for the practice of all kinds of sports and has instructed all areas of the administration to create spaces and conditions to promote athletic races, cycling, yoga classes, soccer, basketball and boxing, among other disciplines. In addition, together with the members of the Cabildo, they have granted various supports for outstanding athletes who participate in national and international competitions.
