#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Voluntariado de Salud y Humanismo AC, of the Instituto de Salud del Estado de México, with the support of the company Red Ambientan SA de CV, achieved the donation of two sewing machines with which they will be able to manufacture a daily oncological wig.

Working hand in hand is the most solid route to achieve actions that impact and benefit the population of the State of Mexico. Society, government and companies build bridges that unite those who need it most with those who have the will to help,” said Macarena Montoya Olvera, Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico.
She added that the delivery of the equipment is a direct benefit for cancer patients facing hair loss.

Alfredo Jiménez García, President of the Health and Humanism Volunteers, AC, thanked the company Red Ambiental for its support and pointed out that the donated machines will make the task of making wigs more efficient, as now it will be possible to make one a day, when this process used to take between 15 and 20 days.

Afterwards, two wigs were delivered to Blanca González Cano and Sofía Tobías Valdés; in addition, the person in charge of the workshop, Rosalba Velázquez López, thanked the work of the volunteers Olga González López and Yaret Pinto Arreola, who work to make the wigs, of which an average of 110 to 120 are delivered annually.
