#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Secretary of Water of the State of Mexico and the Autonomous University of Chapingo signed a collaboration agreement that seeks to strengthen the State’s Water Program.

In the framework of the XXIX National Fair of Rural Culture Chapingo 2024, the Secretary of Water, Pedro Moctezuma Barragán, and Margarita Arias Osorio, director of the Water Program, attended the signing.

On behalf of the university, Rector Ángel Garduño García participated in the formalization of the agreement, which will strengthen ties and cooperation on water issues.

According to the agency, “it is important to create ties that contribute, through knowledge, to the projects that are part of the Water Program”.

“With these actions,” it added in a press release, ”links are established with universities, which strengthen public institutions from the academic and student perspectives.
