Veracruz supports coordination with federal forces; receives new military commander / @GobiernoVer >>>
#EstadoDeVeracruz.- The transition to a new cycle of government requires the joint effort of the entity and the Federation to consolidate security and guarantee the peace and well-being of the population; in this context, Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez attended the inauguration of General Jorge Antonio Maldonado Guevara, in the 19th Military Zone.
The governor participated in the flag oath of the now commander, celebrating the coordination between the Armed Forces and civilian authorities at a key moment for the transformation that Mexico and Veracruz have already begun; cooperation that is accompanied by the commitment to strengthen institutions and consolidate the results obtained in recent years.
Maldonado Guevara has an outstanding career in the Army, having been chief of staff of the 30th Military Zone in Villahermosa, commander of the 9th Cavalry Regiment in Ciudad Juarez, chief of the Operations subsection of Section 3/a of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the National Defense and director of the Military School of Logistics and Military School of Sergeants.
He was also chief of the First Section of Human Resources in the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the National Defense, military and air attaché in Belgium and the Netherlands, director of the Heroic Military College and commander of the Matamoros Military Garrison and the 24th Military Zone in Cuernavaca.
He also served in the barracks of the 14th Military Zone in Aguascalientes, the III Military Region in Mazatlán, Section 11 of Education and Culture of the National Defense General Staff and the 7th Military Zone in Monterrey. The ceremony was attended by members of the State Coordination for the Construction of Peace and the municipal president of Tuxpan, José Manuel Pozos Castro.
