#ISSSTE.- As part of the strategy to maintain the improvement of medical units and provide humanized medical care, the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste) equipped the hospitals of Coatzacoalcos, Córdoba, Tuxpan, Xalapa and Poza Rica, in Veracruz, for the benefit of 276,000 beneficiaries.

These hospitals received intermediate anesthesia equipment with vaporizers, which are state-of-the-art technological tools for performing surgical procedures that will substantially improve the processes at the first and second levels of care.

In addition, the refrigeration networks in Xalapa and Orizaba will be replaced and updated; vertical refrigerators were delivered for the nutrition and kitchen areas, and stoves and stoves will be replaced, which will be used for the preservation and preparation of food for hospitalized patients.

The objective of these actions is to continue strengthening Issste by improving and equipping clinics and hospitals, as well as guaranteeing quality health services for the State’s workers and their families, said María Cruz García Ramón, the agency’s Deputy Delegate for Administration in the state.

She informed that in Coatzacoalcos an electromechanical air conditioning Chiller type equipment was delivered for air conditioning of outpatient, emergency, hospitalization, operating room, auxiliary diagnostic, pharmacy, nutrition and government body area.
