#Edoméx.- The Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, reaffirms its commitment to sports development by allocating 21 million 143 thousand 500 pesos in economic incentives for high performance athletes and coaches, both in conventional and adapted sports.

These resources are intended to support those who continue to carry the name of the State of Mexico to the top in national and international competitions.

On instructions from Miguel Ángel Hernández Espejel, Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports, headed by Manuel Sotomayor Landecho, carried out an exhaustive analysis to ensure that the incentives are granted in accordance with the Rules of Operation and in strict adherence to the achievements obtained.

This has made it possible to increase the number of beneficiaries and guarantee equity in the granting of support for both conventional and adapted sports.

The incentives amount to 20 million 544 thousand pesos for 660 athletes and coaches of conventional and adapted sports, who will be recognized for their achievements, thus strengthening the spirit of “The Power of Sports”.

Additionally, 599,500 pesos will be granted to 44 athletes, medalists who achieved the feat of repeating the gold medal in the CONADE Games of 2023 and 2024, becoming the first government to recognize this achievement with economic support.
