Mexico confirms participation in the International Tourism Trade Fair 2025 (FITUR) / @SECTUR_mx >>>

#SECTUR.- Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, reiterated Mexico’s participation in the International Tourism Fair 2025, held in Madrid, Spain.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) confirmed that she is currently in the organizational stage with the Madrid Trade Fair Institution (IFEMA), since Mexico will be the Partner Country of FITUR 2026. He added that this will strengthen Mexico’s presence, not only with the countries participating in this important tourism fair, but also with the entire world, with a view to hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and consolidating Mexico as a tourism power.

Likewise, Rodríguez Zamora said that Mexico’s participation is a great opportunity to promote the cultural, patrimonial and gastronomic richness of the country’s 32 entities, since during the 5 days of the fair, more than 150 countries will be attending, as well as tourism service providers from the sector at a global level.

He commented that for the 2025 edition, the participation of 8,500 companies from more than 131 countries and more than 6,000 specialized media is expected, with approximately 222,000 visitors, of which more than 50% are professionals of the sector.

He reiterated his commitment to continue with international promotion, as one of the guiding principles to encourage the arrival of national and international visitors, increase economic revenue and strengthen Mexico’s position as a tourism power.
