Esteva Medina presented progress of infrastructure works to be delivered by the Government of Mexico / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) presented the progress of the main infrastructure works to be completed by the Mexican government during the last quarter of this year and the first half of 2025.

In a morning press conference and before President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, highlighted ten works.

The head of the SICT said that this roadway will connect Pachuca to Tampico. Work is being carried out in two sections that include the modernization of four lanes in the Pachuca-Tampico corridor.

The section from Cerro Colorado to Zacualtipán is 99 percent complete: 51 kilometers and will be finished next week, on October 31.

This work will benefit 100,000 inhabitants of the municipalities of Zacualtipán de Los Ángeles, Atotonilco el Grande and Metztitlán. He emphasized that this is the widening and modernization of lanes over a length of 51 kilometers.
