Chilpancingo families enjoy special concert by the Acapulco Philharmonic Orchestra / @EvelynSalgadoP @Gob_Guerrero >>>

#EstadoDeGuerrero.- With the support of the government headed by Evelyn Salgado Pineda through the Ministry of Culture of Guerrero, the Acapulco Philharmonic Orchestra, offered this Monday afternoon, a special concert under the direction of Maestro Bartholomeus Henri Van de Velde, to inaugurate the activities of the Cultural Day “General Nicolas Bravo”, in the state capital, Chilpancingo.

Gathered in the emblematic Civic Plaza Primer Congreso de Anáhuac, families of Chilpancingo enjoyed the music of Guerrero and works of the symphonic repertoire masterfully interpreted by the Acapulco Philharmonic, bringing notes of hope to the people of Chilpancingo.

The program included in the repertoire the works: “Maurerische Trauermusik K. 477” (W.A. Mozart), “Danse Macabre op. 40” (C. Saint-Saêns), “Schindler’s List” (J. Williams), “Night on Bald Mountain” (M. Mussorgsky), “Phantom” (C. Saint-Saêns).

The audience enjoyed Mexican music and the Guerrero themes “Río Azul” (A.I. Delgado and “Acapulqueña” (A. Ramírez), “Suite México 1910” (M. Esperón) and “Huapango” (J.P. Moncayo).

“This is an effort of the State Government presided by Evelyn Salgado Pineda and as she has said, culture is the engine of transformation in Guerrero” said the Secretary of Culture in Guerrero, Aída Melina Martínez Rebolledo when she inaugurated the event on behalf of the state governor, accompanied by the Municipal President of Chilpancingo, Gustavo Alarcón Herrera, among other authorities.
