#EstadoDeMéxico.- Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez delivered the rehabilitation of roads and avenues in the municipalities of Atizapán, Tianguistenco and Toluca where 59 million pesos were invested from the Public Works 2024 Program, which considers projects with social sense in all the municipalities of the State of Mexico.
“Today we begin with the delivery of rehabilitation and reconstruction works of roads in the State of Mexico that were so lacking in our state. Having roads, streets and avenues in good condition generates favorable conditions for the well-being of the population,” said Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.
During the delivery of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Km 10.1 Mexicaltzingo-Tianguistenco-Xalatlaco road, the state governor recalled that these works are part of the project that her government promotes to carry out a work with social sense in each of the 125 municipalities of Mexico, which were designated in coordination with the mayors and citizens.
“We are a government close to the people, we listen to their demands for improvement, not only in roads, but also in other sectors. We are touring the municipalities of the entity to deliver works that have begun to transform the municipalities by improving and rehabilitating public spaces that have been abandoned and deteriorated for years,” said Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.
In Atizapán, 3.63 kilometers of asphalt were rehabilitated, which required an investment of 47 million 595 thousand pesos to benefit 14 thousand users who travel along this avenue and the more than 15 thousand inhabitants of the area.
Meanwhile, in Toluca, Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez delivered the rehabilitation of Primero de Mayo Street, from Rafael Alducín to Alfredo del Mazo Avenue. A total of 11 million 944 thousand pesos were invested in these works, which will benefit 8 thousand motorists and 11 thousand 761 inhabitants.
