#GobiernoDeJalisco.- In order to provide tools and knowledge focused on financial and digital innovation to women entrepreneurs in Jalisco, the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (SICyT) and Kapital Bank are holding the EmpowerHer program.

This program takes place on November 12 and 13 at the facilities of the Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centers of Jalisco (REDi) in Guadalajara, with the participation of 40 women who received a scholarship to be part of this cycle of conferences, workshops and mentoring given by several experts.

The general director of Innovation and Business and Social Development of the SICyT, Nora Martín Galindo, emphasized that this program seeks to provide the tools so that the participants can identify the scalability and profitability of their business, so that they can take actions that will allow them to have a solid enterprise.

“What we are really looking for is to see how to make it profitable, a profitable company can help many more people because it can have many more people working with it, it can help socially responsible, you help your employees and help your society and of course, generate employment for other women and you become an inspiration,” added Martin Galindo.

Eder Echeverría, co-founder of Kapital Bank, pointed out that this program is a channel that provides networking opportunities, which are necessary when starting a business as they allow you to meet suppliers, potential customers and even investors.

Mariana Orozco, Director of Entrepreneurship and Economic Promotion of the Guadalajara City Council, also participated in the inauguration of EmpowerHer.
