#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, announced actions to guarantee peace and order to the people of the State of Mexico during the Buen Fin 2024, one of the most important commercial events of the year, which is expected to bring in more than 25 billion pesos for the State of Mexico.

The strategy will be implemented through the Secretariats of Security (SSEM), Economic Development (Sedeco) and Mobility (Semov).

At a press conference, the Secretary of Economic Development, Laura González Hernández, announced that for this year, it is estimated that sales will exceed 25 billion pesos, which represents an increase of more than 13 percent with respect to sales in 2023, which were 22 billion pesos, for which more than 19 thousand companies are expected to join.

In the C5 Crisis Room in Toluca, the Secretary pointed out that the average expenditure of Mexican households is around 5 thousand pesos and it is estimated that more than 58 percent of the economic spill will be concentrated in the municipalities of Tlalnepantla, Naucalpan, Toluca, Cuautitlán Izcalli and Ecatepec.

In terms of online shopping, eight out of 10 Internet users plan to purchase products or services, while seven out of 10 shoppers plan to use both online and physical channels. Similarly, nine out of 10 buyers have done so in other editions, according to data from the Mexican Association of Online Sales.

Finally, he noted that the sectors that generate more sales are: audio, TV and video, computers, tablets and cell phones, fashion, furniture and decoration, as well as travel and transportation.
