#GobiernoDeMéxico.- As part of Plan Mexico, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo presented the Regional Economic Development and Relocation Advisory Council (CADERR), a group made up of 15 businesswomen and businessmen from different sectors, with whom the objective is to promote a development plan in favor of the well-being of Mexicans.
“We have a plan. It is not only waiting for the market to do its job, it is not only the investments made by the public sector, but it is a development plan for the country that represents well-being for Mexicans and sustainability, that is to say, environmental protection. This involves the salary increases that are coming and the country’s entire economic development package,” he explained during the morning conference ‘Las mañaneras del pueblo’.
He detailed that the Mexican Government has worked with CADERR, -which is coordinated by businesswoman Altagracia Gómez Sierra and is linked to the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), as well as other private sector chambers-, for the implementation of the Welfare Poles, which includes the construction of 100 industrial parks that will be developed according to the productive vocations and natural resources of the different regions of the country, where the construction of housing, schools, roads, among other infrastructure works will be promoted.
“It is a comprehensive plan for the country in which the government obviously plays a leading role, but the work that this Council will develop, obviously with the ministries, is to promote the different projects in the country that are part of what we call Plan Mexico,” he added.
With this, he assured that it will be possible to achieve the country’s estimated economic growth of 2.5 percent, thanks to the fact that productive chains will be strengthened, which will make it possible to replace imports and promote Mexican-made products.
