#Querétaro.- The Secretary of Citizen Security, Iován Elías Pérez Hernández, headed the inter-institutional coordination meeting to discuss the actions to be carried out from December 12 to January 6 in order to guarantee security during this season of important events and festivities in Querétaro.

Perez Hernandez emphasized the special operational work that the State Police will be implementing in the streets, neighborhoods, communities and border areas to inhibit incivilities and illegal acts in the 18 municipalities, so that families can enjoy these dates in peace.

In turn, the general director of the State Civil Protection Coordination, Javier Amaya Torres, addressed part of the work to prevent accidents related to the use of pyrotechnics in addition to the tasks focused on taking care of the most vulnerable population during this cold season.

In his speech, the commander of the 17th Military Zone, Vinicio Perea Alcaraz, reiterated the collaboration of the federation through the Ministry of National Defense and the National Guard to work together with the state and municipalities on issues related to the welfare of society.

Finally, the Secretary of Government, Carlos Alberto Alcaraz Gutiérrez, emphasized that actions will continue to be taken to ensure that businesses continue to operate in compliance with the law, especially in relation to the sale of alcohol. He also mentioned the importance of continuing to listen to the public in order to prevent risks.
