Mayor JM Unánue lights the Christmas Tree in the “heart” of Boca / @JM_UNANUE @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- In an afternoon full of joy and surprises, hundreds of people from Boca del Río gathered this Friday at the Civic Plaza to witness the official start of Christmas, surrounded by a festive and emotionally charged atmosphere.

The Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, accompanied by the President of the municipal DIF, Melina Rivera de Unánue and her little daughter Aitana, was in charge of lighting the Christmas tree and illuminating the Municipal Palace.

“We start with the lighting so that people gather here, in the company of their families, to come in the evenings, to spend a pleasant time and to welcome tourists as well. We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you success, health, and that you have a great time during this Christmas and New Year’s season”, said the dil.

The ceremony that marked the beginning of the festivities, was the meeting point for families who came together to enjoy the magic of Christmas and a show of songs and ballet alluding to the season.

The “Heart” of Bocase was filled with laughter, music and bright colors, creating an atmosphere of happiness for children and adults alike.

On the other hand, Unánue Abascal announced that on Wednesday, December 18 there will be a Christmas parade with the participation of residents of the city, schools and orchestras; the parade will start at the Casa de la Cultura and end at the Palacio Municipal.
