#Iztapalapa, #CDMX.- “To all the participants I want to say that each of you are not only running, but you are setting an example for our children and young people, demonstrating that sport is a powerful tool for coexistence, health and wellbeing. The governor of Iztapalapa thanked each and every one of those who made this event possible, in which more than three thousand 500 runners participated, and in which around 280 thousand pesos in prizes were allocated, “to all those who have contributed to make this day a reality, so that Iztapalapa continues to be a benchmark of culture and sport in Mexico City, thank you”.

Alavez Ruiz wished luck to the competitors and asked them to remember that the real triumph is not only to arrive first but to participate, to make an effort and to be part of the great family of Iztapalapa. “Today more than ever we are demonstrating that our community is full of passion, strength and unwavering energy, may this race be the reflection of the New Fire that comes from within and that reaches Iztapalapa, a fire of unity, teamwork and constant renewal, I wish every runner success,” he remarked.
