#SRE.- At the inauguration of the XXXVI Meeting of Embassy and Consulate Heads (REC) 2025, Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente assured that these are times of unity and responsible work to deploy the best diplomacy in the consular, bilateral and multilateral spheres to defend our principles and the rights of our countrymen and women.

Before the heads of the country’s representations around the world, he stated that Mexico needs a united and committed Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as it knows how to do, to be at the height of the national and international circumstances that modern times demand.

After reiterating that Mexican nationals in the United States are not alone, Chancellor De la Fuente expressed his full confidence in the law as a fundamental tool to support Mexicans who require it, in any circumstance, in the defense of their rights, regardless of their immigration status.

“Mexico expects from us a professional, ethical and effective diplomacy. Mexico trusts in your experience, commitment, dedication, devotion and vocation of service,” he said at the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
