#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, held the first program of the year, Conectando con la Gente (Connecting with the People); on this occasion she spoke about the Government Program, whose participation process integrates the citizenry in the analysis of each of its axes.

“We are working hard to build the Guanajuato of the future,” said the State Governor accompanied by Graciela Amaro Hernandez, head of the Institute of Planning, Statistics and Geography of the State of Guanajuato (IPLANEG).

In this interaction it was highlighted that the conformation of the Government Program, which integrates the vision of the Decalogue of the Government of the People, the current diagnosis of the State of Guanajuato with the review of indicators, the proposals received during the campaign, and the involvement of citizens through workshops and consultations.

In addition to these six axes, there are three cross-cutting axes: 1. Promotion of women; 2. “What we are looking for is for these axes to permeate all government policies,” said Libia Dennise.

In order to integrate citizen participation in this Government Program, four workshops were held covering the Northeast, North, Central and South regions, representing the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato.
