Construction of grapefruit street starts in Celaya in Colonia del Bosque 3rd Section / @municipiocelaya >>>
#Celaya, #Gto.- The municipal president, Juan Miguel Ramírez, accompanied by neighbors from the surrounding neighborhoods, formally kicked off and supervised the progress of the construction work on Toronja Street in the third section of the Del Bosque neighborhood, where a complete paving project will be carried out, as well as the introduction of water and sewage networks, among other actions.
The mayor reiterated the commitment to attend to the popular neighborhoods to bring them works and programs that promote culture, sports and social economy.
“Today is a very special day because we are fulfilling the commitment we have been making since the campaign and after we took the Municipal Presidency. We have said that we are going to do a lot of work and, among other things, we are going to create culture committees, sports committees, arts and technology committees, we are going to create cooperative schools for self-employment, we are going to promote social entrepreneurship and we are going to do many other things, but we want to do a lot of work,” he said in his message.
The work on Toronja Street consists of street layout and leveling works, paving with concrete slabs, storm drains, concrete sidewalks and curbs, drinking water network, water outlets, road signs, drainage network, street lighting with LED lights and lighting poles, all with an investment of more than 3.2 million pesos of municipal resources, according to the information provided by the director of Public Works, Juan Refugio Rojas.
The formal start-up of the work was attended by the president of the Municipal DIF Board of Trustees, Laura Casillas; councilwoman Liliana Celedón, president of the Public Works and Municipal Services Commission of the City Council, directors of agencies, presidents of neighborhoods and neighbors of the neighborhoods located in the area.
