#EstadoDeMéxico.- Almost a year after their implementation, the Caravanas Itinerantes por la Justicia Social have visited 87 municipalities in the State of Mexico, granting 277,706 procedures and services, most of them free or at low cost, which translates into 103,565 families benefited and a savings for them of more than 90 million pesos.
With the Power to Serve, the Itinerant Caravans returned to the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli to attend to legal needs such as the right to identity and property certainty, providing more than 110 procedures and services; key tools for Mexican families to consolidate their life projects.
During the free delivery of birth certificates and wills, Jesús George Zamora, Legal Counselor, highlighted the commitment of the Government of Maestra Delfina Gómez Álvarez with micro-justice, a model that brings concrete legal solutions to people in their daily lives.
“The importance of this program to abate the legal backlog, with the Caravans, is because we are attending to what I call, a second floor micro justice; that is, the justice that people need on a daily basis. What we should care about is the justice of the families, of the people, of absolutely everyone, not only of the big cases”, highlighted the Legal Counselor.
Lorenzo Cruz López, a native of Cuautitlán Izcalli, attended the Caravanas to make his will free of charge at the stand of the College of Notaries, generating savings for his economy of four thousand 200 pesos; he also took advantage of the fact that new federal agencies joined these days by visiting the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) where he received advice to resolve doubts about his credit.
