Government of Ecatepec hands over rehabilitated park to neighbors in Tulpetlac / @Ecatepec >>>

#Ecatepec, #Edoméx.- In order to improve the urban environment and provide a space for recreation, culture and healthy leisure, the Municipal Government of Ecatepec rehabilitated Tulpetlac Park, which was handed over to the population by the Mayor, Azucena Cisneros Coss.

In front of the neighbors of the Mexicalco III and IV neighborhoods, the municipal president acknowledged the defense made by the people of this area “…this space is a place of the community that has fought, as thousands and thousands of neighbors in Ecatepec fight, mainly for all their spaces, for their land, for everything…”

He called on the population to take care of the recreational area and organize sports and cultural activities for the benefit of the community “If you fill the public space, no one else arrives”.

Cisneros Coss, also commented to the neighbors that the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum and the governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gomez, have great interest in Ecatepec, which is why a comprehensive plan to recover water through the network was already launched, including the rehabilitation of 24 wells that are already intervening.

The mayor acknowledged that the goal of the Government of Change with Honesty is that the neighbors receive the vital liquid through the network, put an end to leaks and reduce flooding with the cleaning of ravines, sumps, collectors and sewers.

Mercedes Luis, a neighbor of the Mexicalco neighborhood, said she was pleased with the rehabilitation of the park, since there are many children in the area who did not have a place to have fun, but acknowledged that it is the duty of the population to keep the place clean so that it is pleasant for the people who “come to live here”.
