#Toluca, #Edoméx.- This month of love and friendship, the municipal government invites you to enjoy the activities that the General Directorate of Education, Culture and Tourism is preparing for Toluca residents and visitors in order to strengthen the social fabric and foster community.
On Monday, February 10, as part of the Toluca mi Amor program, the Pasaje Aeropuerto will be inaugurated as a way to boost tourism at the Toluca International Airport and will also be a new space to promote handicrafts made by Toluca’s women and men.
Meanwhile, in the heart of the city, photo lovers and those who want to capture special moments in images, will be able to attend the activity Rincones Instagrameables and take the best photos and selfies in the Exenta Chapel, from 9:00 to 18:00 hours and will be available until February 16.
Also, at the Sor Juana Bookstore, on Thursday, February 13, at 4:00 p.m., there will be a workshop on cardboard hearts, while at 5:00 p.m. Xochil Lagunes will present her book “Aprovéchate de mí” (Take advantage of me).
To enjoy Valentine’s Day, on February 14, the people of Toluca and visitors can go to the Artisan Market at the Acoustic Shell, where talented artisans will offer products of the highest quality at special prices so people are invited to consume local and know the vast options of gifts that can be purchased.
In addition, there will be a free musical show Toluca mi Amor en la Capilla Exenta, which will conquer the public with a dreamy program.
The General Directorate of Education, Culture and Tourism has prepared several dynamics to encourage citizen participation, so, as part of the same, the population has until February 12 to participate in Tu historia, nuestra serenata, where each person can tell their story, send it or write it on the official website and win a serenade to their homes; also, as part of the coordination with the business sector they can also win a dinner as a couple.
The activities will continue on Sunday, February 23 with the concert Amor Eterno by the Toluca Philharmonic Orchestra (OFiT) at the Morelos Theater and on Monday, February 24 with the delivery of the rehabilitation of a new music hall at El Seminario; in addition to the free permanent exhibitions at the Arratia Gallery, the Tourist Service Center and the Sor Juana Bookstore.
