#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The mayoress of Tecámac, Rosa Yolanda Wong Romero, headed the inauguration of two more Liconsa dairies in this municipality, which are added to the 36 existing ones, and it is expected that in the coming months another ten will be opened for the benefit of the most vulnerable population.
Accompanied by Liconsa’s northern metropolitan manager, Rommel Ramírez Núñez, and municipal officials, the mayor went first to the La Nopalera neighborhood and then to the Vista Hermosa neighborhood to cut the ribbon on the points of sale, whose facilities were loaned by the Municipal DIF System.
During the ceremony, Wong Romero reaffirmed his commitment to improve the quality of life of Tecamaquenses, guaranteeing access to quality products at affordable prices to those who need them most.

“Today we celebrate one more achievement in our struggle to improve the quality of life of families. This dairy is not only a distribution point, but a space that guarantees access to essential products, such as fortified milk, which is fundamental to the diet of our children and seniors,” she said.
In Tecámac there are currently 36 dairies. In 2024, the municipal authorities announced an agreement with Liconsa for the installation of 15 more dairies, of which five have started operating so far, and it is estimated that in the coming months the remaining ten will provide the service.
For his part, Ramírez Núñez explained that currently in the country there is a census of 6 million 200 thousand people, and it is expected that by the end of this year there will be seven million; since the goal of the government of President Claudia Sheinbaum, for the year 2030 is 10 million.
