#Tlalnepantla, #Edoméx.- Citizens who need to request a permanent operating license for high and low impact economic units free of charge can go to the Tlalnepantla Business Assistance Center (CAET), where the unique business management forms have been granted since last month, with the aim of detonating the economy in the municipality and generating more and better employment opportunities.

The deputy director of CAET Xóchitl Maldonado, reported that by instructions of the municipal president Raciel Pérez Cruz, this area is improving its processes to streamline and make them transparent within the framework of the zero corruption policy, which has resulted in the receipt of approximately 50 applications, of which 23 operating licenses have been delivered.

She added that work is being done on resolving 80 pending files since June of last year and attention is being given to a significant number of requests for a Draft Opinion that were ignored without any legal justification.

The official commented that the CAET operates as a One-Stop Shop that has links with other departments such as Environmental Sustainability, Civil Protection and Comprehensive Risk Management, and the Municipal Treasury. She commented that the latter is responsible for receiving payment of fees from those establishments that sell alcoholic beverages to guarantee good practices.

She explained that operating licenses have no cost and are permanent, «only the payment of the Zoning Information Card is covered, this procedure is done at the Directorate of Urban Transformation and has a cost of 321 pesos as established by the Financial Code of the State of Mexico.»
