Work begins in Naucalpan to improve safety and mobility / @isaacsolar @GobNau >>>

#Naucalpan, #Edoméx.- The Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to the well-being and safety of the citizens by initiating several public works that will improve mobility and safety in the municipality. In order to reduce the impact on the population, the maneuvers and installation of machinery will be carried out at night and during off-peak hours.

This day, the municipal government, through the Public Services and Public Works departments, began the installation of machinery for the rehabilitation of the asphalt in two sections of Estacas Avenue, in San Bartolo Naucalpan. This work will improve the urban image and provide greater safety and mobility to more than 200,000 inhabitants.

To ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians, the road was closed for a couple of hours during the installation of the machinery. Afterwards, traffic was reopened on Gustavo Baz Avenue to avoid major setbacks.

With an investment of more than 24 million pesos, the work will be carried out in two sections:

1.From Mexico Avenue to Abasolo Street.

2.From Universidad Avenue to Olmeca Street.

In total, 8,446.51 square meters will be rehabilitated through patching and improvement of the asphalt surface.

Also, crews from the Public Services Department will carry out general cleaning, debris removal and patching in the area as part of the Transforming my Space operation.

The Municipal Government reiterates its commitment to the population and thanks them for their understanding in the event of temporary damages that may arise during the execution of these works.

Finally, the Public Works Department informs that the rehabilitation works will be carried out at night, from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., in order to avoid significant traffic interruptions and guarantee the benefit to the citizens.
