«Presupuesto 2025» approved in Tecámac; will generate more development and wellbeing in the municipality

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The Tecámac City Council allocated a budget of two billion 451 million 201 thousand 888 pesos this year, in which public investment remains a priority by allocating 653 million 650 thousand pesos, 17% more than in 2024.

The resources approved by the Cabildo for the first year of administration of the municipal president, Rosi Wong Romero, respond to the demands of a population that demands an efficient and committed Municipal Government, especially that they are used strategically to generate development, boost local economic activity, strengthen the social fabric and consolidate a modern and competitive Tecámac.

In the area of public investment, Chapter 5000, the acquisition of two buildings and 77 vehicles are contemplated for the provision of various services, such as public safety, public lighting, urban solid waste collection, cleaning and civil protection, thus ensuring the continuity of urban development projects, road infrastructure and improvement of public spaces.

Chapter 6,000, also as part of public investment, will be applied to the construction of public works, an area in which Tecámac has been rated as one of the three best municipalities nationwide, according to the most recent study by Consulta Mitofsky.

The above due to the continuity in the levels of public investment in the last 6 years (from 2019 to 2024) that consistently exceeds 28% of the total resources administered of each fiscal year that were destined to strengthen the administration and its capacity to provide services and public functions as to the infrastructure of the municipality.

Together with Chapter 4,000 resources over the last six years, more than half of every peso collected has been returned to the community in works, services, patrimony and support that directly strengthen their quality of life

In other words, no more than 50% of its resources are destined to current spending, from which essential services such as public safety, public lighting or ecology, among others, should be deducted.

During the current year, 500 million pesos will be allocated to continue with the strengthening of hydro-sanitary, mobility or road, educational, administrative services, sports and security infrastructure, with a total of 205 projects.

Of these, 33 correspond to arch roofs, classrooms, sanitary modules, walls and rehabilitation in schools with more than 67 million pesos; 119 work projects related to the conservation, maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of roads, with an investment of more than 291 million pesos.

Also, 16 drainage projects with more than 21 million pesos invested and the strengthening of official facilities, sports and public spaces such as parks, dairies, DIF facilities, under bridges, among others, with more than 119 million pesos in 38 projects.

The present Expenditure Budget represents an increase of 6.84 % with respect to the one exercised last year and a growth of nearly 40% in the fiscal resources of the municipality with respect to 2018.
