SICT recommends planning travel to major ceremonial centers for the Spring Equinox 2025 / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- On the occasion of the celebration of the Spring Equinox 2025, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), headed by Jesus Antonio Esteva Medina, issues the following recommendations to ensure safe travel to the main ceremonial centers of the country.

A high vehicular flow is expected on various federal highways, so travelers are urged to plan their journeys in advance.

Likewise, in order to guarantee a safe trip, the SICT urges:

Check the condition of the vehicle before leaving (brakes, tires, lights, oil and water levels).
Use seat belts at all times.
Avoid using cell phones while driving.
Respect speed limits and traffic signs.
Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or substances that alter reflexes.
Check the weather and road conditions.
Carry water, light food and a first aid kit.
Use alternate routes in case of traffic congestion.
