Government of the State of Mexico attends to transportation associations in the northeast; avoids demonstrations and blockades through dialogue / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico, in coordination with the Government of Mexico, managed to avoid, through direct dialogue, blockades and disruptions to the mobility of citizens due to a march called on April 2 by transportation organizations in the northeastern part of the State.

The associations involved, such as the Alianza de Autotransportistas, Comerciantes y Anexas del Estado de México (ACME); Alianza de Autotransportistas Autónomos de la República Mexicana (AAA) and Corporativo IZGASA, were contacted from the first day of the march.

The various meetings were attended by Federal and State Government agencies, such as the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB), the Ministry of Government (SGG), the Ministry of Mobility (Semovi) and the Ministry of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM), as well as the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM).

By prioritizing open dialogue with the transportation organizations, it was possible to avoid the demonstration and thus avoid affecting the mobility of millions of citizens in the State of Mexico and Mexico City.

The priority of the State Executive is to guarantee security, coexistence and respect for freedom of expression and demonstration; always maintaining the willingness to dialogue in order to find solutions in accordance with the law.

Therefore, we reiterate our willingness to attend to all groups of demonstrators, reaffirming our commitment to promote at all times an environment of respect without affecting citizens.
