In Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri holds strategic meetings with federal officials / @makugo @gobqro >>>
#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- The governor, Mauricio Kuri González, held a series of meetings with federal officials and Senators of the Republic, with the purpose of advancing in the management of different projects for Querétaro, strengthening collaboration ties and socializing the law initiative that regulates the access of children and adolescents to the digital environment.
One of the priority meetings took place at the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), where he was received by its head, Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, to whom he presented, together with the Secretary of Urban Development and Public Works, José Pío X Salgado Tovar, the portfolio of projects to be developed in Querétaro. During the dialogue, it was agreed to review these projects and define actions to be taken by the authorities of both levels of government.
The conversation concluded with the negotiations for the vehicular bridge for Los Patos, in the eastern zone of San Juan del Río, and its connection with Federal Highway 57; a bridge in El Castillo, a community located on the border of the state with Guanajuato; as well as the reinforcement infrastructure in the areas where the construction of the Mexico – Querétaro train stations is planned.
He also held a working meeting with the general director of the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), Efraín Morales López, and the executive director of the State Water Commission (CEA), Luis Alberto Vega Ricoy, to follow up on the projects underway in the state; he was also informed of the state government’s progress and upcoming negotiations.
During his visit to the Ministry of Economy, the state president, accompanied by the technical secretary of the Ministry of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Cecilia Bustamante Mier y Terán, spoke with the head of the agency, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón, about Querétaro’s programs and projects in the economic, investment, employment and competitiveness areas.
They also discussed the strategies to be followed as a nation to strengthen the Mexican economy in the face of international policies and the imposition of tariffs by the United States. In this regard, Kuri González ratified the willingness to work in coordination with the federal government in actions that benefit Mexicans.
