#EstadoDeGuerrero.- Inaugurating the Tianguis Campesino 2025 on behalf of Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda, the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development, Alejandro Zepeda Castorena, emphasized that for the state government it is a high priority to promote the Guerrero countryside, because with each seed sown, it is one more step towards food sovereignty.

The Tianguis Campesino organized by the municipality of Zihuatanejo aims to support the producers of the municipality with the delivery of work tools, which contribute to the easy realization of their activities and improve the production of their products.

Zepeda Castorena emphasized that the instruction of Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda is to attend to the producers, stressing that when the countryside advances, Guerrero advances, therefore working to continue supporting the field, not as an option but as a duty, because the field is not only the root of food, if not also a great engine of development.

Present at the event were the municipal president Lizette Tapia Castro; the undersecretary of Livestock and Fisheries, Adalid Pérez Galeana; the general director of Livestock Development and Standards, Michelle Estefanía Gómez Dueñas; the president of the Mexican National Association of Zebu Producers, Óscar Thomas Obregón; the president of the Mexican Association of Zebu Breeders, Óscar Thomas Obregón; the president of the Association of Cattle Breeders of Costa Grande, Emmanuel Villa Arreola; the director of Municipal Development, José Isabel Carrillo Infante, as well as representatives of the ejido and municipal commissioners of the region.
