#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #EstadoDeMéxico. – In the framework of the signing of an agreement with the Judicial Power to prevent, attend to and eradicate domestic violence, the municipal president of Tlalnepantla, Raciel Pérez Cruz, affirmed that significant progress has been made in attending to women victims of violence, thanks to greater coordination between municipal, state and judicial authorities.

‘This agreement allows us to have greater agility in the almost immediate attention to complaints of domestic violence,’ said the mayor, who stressed that this is a necessary agreement that will allow municipalities to act more quickly and effectively in the face of this problem.

Pérez Cruz reported that in Tlalnepantla there has already been a decrease in the incidence of crime related to gender violence. ‘We have improvements,’ he said, adding that one of the key goals of the agreement is precisely to further reduce these rates.

On the presence of criminal groups in the region, the mayor reiterated that the strategy is based on coordination between the three levels of government. ‘This event is precisely an act that demonstrates the coordination between the executive branch, the municipal governments and the judiciary,’ he said, stressing that this collaboration is fundamental to contain the advance of organised crime.
