#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #EstadoDeMéxico. – Hundreds of residents of Tlalnepantla joined the National Boxing Class organised by the federal government presided over by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo with the aim of promoting sport and healthy coexistence throughout the country.

The municipal president, Raciel Pérez Cruz, assured that this type of initiative helps children and young people to stay away from the consumption of harmful substances, as well as increasing the life expectancy of older adults.

‘Sport always poses challenges, goals, and these are things you have to have in life,’ said the mayor during this event in which important boxing stars such as Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez and Pablo Cano Gonzalez participated.

Raciel Pérez Cruz indicated that Tlalnepantla is committed to the massive practice of sport, which is why it is intervening in facilities where the inhabitants go to offer decent spaces where they can exercise and promote a healthier life.

He added that through the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sport of Tlalnepantla, sports activities are developed in neighbourhoods, towns and subdivisions of the demarcation to bring the inhabitants closer to this type of actions that generate better environments and help prevent crime in the communities.

The participants acquired boxing knowledge such as self-defence, waist movement, hooks, uppercuts, among others that the professionals apply during their presentations.
