SICT launches training program through «Smart Villages» in Yucatán / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), through the Coordination of the Information and Knowledge Society (CSIC), announced the «Start Your Entrepreneurship Business» training program, led by the social enterprise Pro Mujer, which will take place in the state of Yucatán on October 3 and 4 of this year.

The aforementioned workshop will be conducted using the «Smart Villages, Sustainable Well-being» social inclusion model, promoted by the SICT in the municipalities of Yaxcabá and Tekax, in the state of Yucatán.

It is important to note that Smart Villages was chosen as the 2023 Champion by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) World Summit on the Information and Knowledge Society (WSIS) Awards in Category 1: «The Role of Governments and All Stakeholders in Promoting ICTs for Development»:

The workshop will consist of six modules over six weeks. In Yaxcabá, the launch session will be held at the Casa de Cultura on Tuesday, October 3, starting at 10:00 a.m. In the municipality of Tekax, it will be held at the Ricardo Palmerín Convention Center on Wednesday, October 4, starting at 11:00 a.m.
