#Guanajuato, #Gto.- The Guanajuato City Council announced that, in observance of the traditional Friday of Sorrows, known as the Day of Flowers, as well as the presentation of the Judea, a vehicular traffic closure will be implemented on one of the main streets in the city center.
The closure will take place on Avenida Juárez, near Plaza de la Paz, and will be in effect from Thursday, April 10, at 2:00 p.m., until Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 p.m. This measure seeks to ensure the safety of residents and visitors attending these traditional festivities.
Municipal authorities urge citizens to take precautions and plan their travel in advance, as this area of the historic center typically experiences high traffic during these cultural and religious events.
As part of the operation, public transportation routes will be temporarily detoured. The trucks will travel through the Northeast Tunnel, exiting at Dos Ríos, and then resume their normal route, ensuring service continuity without impacting users.
